full day meeting on FAO map will precede the soil inventory meeting
Talks on Australia map, Mexico map, Tanzania

Tasks

 1. Contributors - create map products (any extent, any scale)
       a) eg1 carbon maps for each province using specifications
          eg2 regional carbon maps
          eg3 national maps for forests
eg4 national maps for agricultural areas
eg5 national map for the north
       b) masks for eg bedrock, wetlands, urban, water
       c) Point data
       d) suggest AB BM CB BH JD XG GL JB SS

 2. Aggregators - assemble contributions into final map
       a) prioritize / merge / overlay / mosaic / blend
       b) fill gaps
       c) suggest CB SS BL JB XG BM

 3. Data repository
       a) contributors store their own datasets to achieve 1a.
       b) aggregators store outputs from 1a, 1b and final products
       c) wiki serves as data repository
           (i) contributors post original links to all input data
                   - cded, canvec, srtm, imagery, lcc 2000
(ii) contributors post metadata for links
                   - extent, scale, license (could be 'don't know')
(iii) contributors post methods used to process data from 3c(1)
                   - eg SAGA - GIS for slope, aspect, wetness, mrvbf
                   - eg NDVI from landsat cloud free date range
                   - etc
       d) proposed structure for wiki based data repository:
